Electronic Warfare Solution Architect

Your future duties and responsibilities
In your role as an Electronic Warfare Solution Architect you will act as the technical lead for a variety of consultancy and delivery projects and bids within the Electronic Warfare domain. This will involve writing and reviewing Electronic Warfare related technical reports and studies, as well as documenting the results of analysis/consultancy work conducted by others. You'll also help support our Defence pre-sales, bidding and proposition development activities from an Electronic Warfare point of view.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
You’ll need demonstrable technical systems engineering knowledge in Electronic Warfare ideally gained within commercial industry. You’ll need to be able to show leadership and technical expertise in the delivery of commercial Electronic Warfare programmes. You must have experience of working with the Joint Electronic Warfare Operational Support Centre (JEWOSC) and a strong understanding of Electronic Warfare Operational Support (EWOS), Defensive Aid Suites (DAS) and Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) systems. As an architect you should have a good understanding of Enterprise Architecture and modelling frameworks such as MODAF / TOGAF/ UML. You will, of course, need strong understanding of MOD C4ISTAR environment. Experience and knowledge of database technologies and wider hardware & software IT systems integration is also desirable.
This is a fast paced environment, with requirements from our clients often changing quickly so you’ll need to thrive under pressure. You’ll be an excellent communicator, able to covey your expertise both verbally in presentations to varied audiences, and in written technical reports. You’ll also need strong analytical and problem solving skills gained within IT integration environments to be successful in this role.
Rate: £60,000 – £85,000 + Pension, Bonus, Private Medical
