My Client is a leader in Digital Services. With a Global client base they provide Cloud operations, Managed Services, Big Data and Cyber-Security Solutions. They are currently noted as one of the European leaders in the Transactional service Industry.

 

Job Description

My client are seeking an experience Business Development executive to work with their private sector clients. To assist them in selling their HPCaas and their DLaas to Public and Private sector customers. The main driver of this role is to ensure the growth of BDS Big data and Analytics pipeline. The Successful candidate will be considered a self-starter and will be strongly motivated to make the new service a success.

 

Job Requirements

  • True HPC/Big Data solution sales professional.
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK high performance data analytics market and ecosystem. Ability to engage and sell the value of big data and in-memory computing to the CxO level.
  • An understanding of cloud based value propositions but also why general purpose clouds are not suitable for HPC
  • Excellent customer facing and customer management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels: presentation, written and verbal.
  • Established network within the UK ecosystem including customers, partners and Government.
  • To be able to run a sales campaign from the ground up, through different stages of the sales cycles.
  • Respond to tenders sometimes to tight deadlines. To totally own the solution response and coordinate members within other teams in achieving answers.
  • Work with the pre sales team in qualifying deals, attending sales-led meetings, and provide presentations to clients.
  • To keep abreast of the Atos Big Data roadmap and how this can influence customer requirements.
  • Communicate clearly and reliably into a wider project team that will consist of sales, presales, solution architects, project managers, and business development managers.
  • Can manage workload and priorities independently of manager.
  • Comfortable working remotely and also working with colleagues in other countries.
  • Occasional international travel.

 

Desirable

  • Experience of selling cloud solutions
  • Experience of Digital Transformation and consolidation solutions
  • Experience of working with and developing channel partners
