Senior Strategic Change Manager – (Stakeholder Engagement, Risk Assurance, Business Development)
Sometimes you just have to risk it for the proverbial chocolate biscuit. Whether this be whipping out your slightly exuberant Hawaiian shirt on a Monday for work, or trying that new macrobiotic, vegan, gluten-free, calorie free, skinny-mocha-choca, spiced pumpkin latte from Starbucks. If you don’t live life on the edge like in these situations, then are you really living life or simply surviving. For all sized businesses it is important to not just take risks but also protect themselves from the potential repercussions as best they can. This is where they need people to help them identify when to lay up short of the water hazard and play for the up-and-down as opposed to going for that high, fading 3-wood out the rough.
In this role you will be like Thomas Bjorn for Team Europe. You will be the omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient leader who oversees the entire goings on of projects from initial sales pitches and business development, to the final delivery of your strategy. You will not only be managing the people in your team but also dealing with external stakeholders of all levels of seniority. It is therefore vitally important that you have outstanding personal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally. You should not be the person who is going to talk till the cows come home about why your idea is the world’s best strategy. You should be the person who can listen to the needs, wants and capabilities of the client and provide a clear and concise answer.
If this seems like a role that would interest you then read on to the criteria required.
