Role Overview:

Join a dynamic team at the forefront of defending critical national infrastructure (CNI) for a major UK organization. As a Threat Intelligence and Vulnerability analyst, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our Security Operations Centre (SOC) to proactively identify and mitigate cyber threats. This role demands experience in threat assessment, vulnerability management, and intelligence analysis to ensure the highest level of security for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce comprehensive threat assessments to elucidate the evolving threat landscape.
  • Work on the IoC database, ensuring timely updates to detection systems.
  • Develop and maintain threat profiles and threat modeling for the monitored environment.
  • Gather and maintain threat intelligence requirements for the SOC team.
  • Assist vulnerability management, including criticality assessment and remediation tracking.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and research on threat actors and their tactics and techniques.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

  • Experience in Threat Intelligence, including developing products for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in malware analysis and reverse engineering.
  • Strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of core networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP).
  • Familiarity with malware behavior and evasion techniques.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining threat data sources.

Non-Technical Skills:

  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills for solving complex technical problems.
  • Client-side consulting experience, with stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Adaptability to work with different organizational cultures and structures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Self-motivated with a track record of maintaining high team morale and performance.
