Salary: £47,683 - £52,426

What You'll Be Doing:
As a Senior Safety Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety of cutting-edge products right from the start of their development. The Senior Safety Engineer will be responsible for identifying potential hazards, conducting safety analyses, and managing product safety risks. Your work will include reviewing design installations for safety, tracking safety requirements, and providing expert advice to project teams on safety and environmental concerns. Additionally, the Senior Safety Engineer will support Product Integrity Committees and help manage any emerging safety issues as they arise.

Your Skills and Experience:

• A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience, ideally with a focus on Safety Engineering
• Experience in hazard identification, safety analysis, and risk assessment
• Familiarity with reviewing and assuring Safety Cases and Safety Justifications
• A broad background in engineering, particularly in aircraft design, testing, and support from concept through to in-service use
• Ability to lead teams and work independently
