Systematic Technologist/Software Engineer

London based

Key Responsibilities:

• Be involved in the development and management of trading strategies technology.
• Participate in the design and implementation of a greenfield systematic platform, including data handling, portfolio construction, testing, and signal generation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to ensure technology solutions meet business needs.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and developments in the field of systematic trading.

Requirements:

• At least 4/5 years preferably at systematic buy-side firms, but open to buy and sell side experience.
• Proven experience in building systematic platforms, including data, portfolio construction, testing, and signal generation.
• Deep knowledge of a broad set of asset classes i.e. not exclusively Equities.
• Strong programming and technology skills, including an in-depth understanding of and recent programming experience in Python, and other object-orientated languages such as C#/.NET.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A 1st class degree obtained in Computer Science, or a related field, from a Russell Group University and A levels at grade A*/A/B (or international equivalents).
