Software Engineer (Defence - DV cleared)

Anson McCade are currently working with a cyber security and defence organisation who are currently in search of DV Cleared Software Engineers to join their security teams.
You'll play a vital role in the delivery, planning and management of projects within National Security, keeping the UK and allies safe.
Required experience of the DV Cleared Software Engineer:
* Proficient in multiple programming languages, such as Python, SQL, JavaScript, Java, Scala, C, and C++.
* Knowledgeable in cloud architecture, with experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
* Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
* Proficient with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
* Strong understanding of the end-to-end data lifecycle, covering engineering, data science, quality, analytics, and business intelligence (BI).
* Experience in mentorship or team leadership is highly desirable.
The Software Engineer package:
* £55,000 - £72,000 (DOE)

Candidates must hold either UKIC or MOD Developed Vetting Clearance to be eligible. This must be active and demonstrated by a history of UK Government, Intelligence or Defence backgrounds.
