About the Role

This role puts you at the heart of designing and developing advanced training systems that help simulate real-world scenarios. You'll work with cutting-edge software on Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) platforms, making sure the systems perform flawlessly and meet customer needs-all while balancing cost and efficiency.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Senior Systems Engineer, your day-to-day will involve designing complex training systems, breaking down requirements, and managing everything from system architecture to final testing. You'll work with tools like IBM DOORS Next and CATIA Magic (Cameo) to create architectural models, and you'll make sure everything aligns with both technical specs and stakeholder expectations. You'll also lead system integration, develop testing strategies, and help guide the system through its lifecycle, from concept to customer acceptance.
What You'll Bring to the Team
You'll need a strong foundation in systems engineering, especially when it comes to large-scale, complex systems. If you're familiar with ISO 15288 principles, that's a big plus. As a Senior Systems Engineer, problem-solving is key-whether you're designing new features or troubleshooting issues. Experience with tools like JIRA, DOORS, and CATIA will make you a great fit, as will a good understanding of the full engineering lifecycle. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams are essential.
