About the Role
An exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to work at the forefront of submarine platform integration. As a Systems Engineer, you'll lead critical product integration work streams, guiding complex systems to ensure they are safely and effectively integrated across the full submarine platform lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver on SSNA product integration, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and contractual standards.
- Apply engineering tools and innovative processes to develop efficient solutions within project guidelines.
- Define and oversee Whole Boat Design policies and standards, playing a hands-on role in design and build phases.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure systems integration meets all safety and compliance benchmarks.
- Lead technical reviews and integration assessments to maintain the highest standards of product delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
- Solid understanding of Systems Engineering principles and lifecycle management.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, effectively navigating cross-functional and organisational boundaries.
Desirable Experience as a Systems Engineer:
- Background in complex engineering fields like shipbuilding, aviation, or safety engineering.
- Familiarity with submarine systems and product functional analysis.
- Experience from a Navy background or complex engineering environments.
