A global design studio is looking for an experienced User Researcher to join a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team focused on creating impactful, user-centred services.
This role is dedicated to using agile methodologies to ensure that every discovery and design project is deeply rooted in user understanding, resulting in accessible, intuitive services that minimize friction and complexity within the public sector!
Key Responsibilities of the User Researcher:
- Identify research needs and select the best research methods for each project.
- Develop, document, and present comprehensive research plans outlining study goals and methodologies.
- Conduct a variety of user research activities, including preparing discussion guides, creating information-gathering tools, and facilitating user research sessions.
- Engage with users through interviews, workshops, and ethnographic research to build meaningful insights.
- Analyse research findings and data to generate valuable insights and actionable recommendations.
- Synthesize and document findings with tools such as user stories, journey mapping, and storyboarding to convey the full user experience.
- Present research insights and strategic recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, actionable format.
Required experience of the User Researcher:
- Proven experience as a User Researcher in sectors such as public services, consultancy, or any organization where data-driven decisions guide impactful outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute effective research plans that meet project objectives.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to deliver insights and recommendations clearly and persuasively.
- Collaborative work style, thriving alongside multi-disciplinary teams and diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in the government sector and active SC clearance are highly preferable.

- £75,000 base
