About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Outsystems Developer to join a government digital service team, working on innovative and impactful projects. You will play a key role in delivering modern, user-centric digital solutions, contributing to the transformation of public sector services.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled developer to make a meaningful difference while enjoying the flexibility of a contract outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust applications using the Outsystems low-code platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and business analysts, to deliver user-centric solutions.
  • Ensure applications meet performance, security, and accessibility standards, aligning with GDS principles.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring high system availability and performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and share best practices with the team.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as an Outsystems Developer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Expertise in building and deploying applications using the Outsystems platform.
  • Familiarity with GDS (Government Digital Service) standards and accessibility requirements.
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices, including agile methodologies.
  • Experience integrating Outsystems applications with third-party systems and APIs.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Experience working in the public sector or on government projects.
  • Certifications in Outsystems development.
