My client are a boutique proprietary trading firm based in Amsterdam. The firm are in their next growth phase and are hiring Quantitative Researchers across their core teams. These teams cover a mix of futures, equities, crypto, and options products.
They have a cutting-edge approach to High Frequency Trading and are looking for experienced quants with proficiency in machine learning based algorithms. The firm offer a high-performance culture, a collaborative setup, and significant autonomy in shaping research and strategies.
As a Quantitative Researcher, you will have the opportunity to work across the full research pipeline, from alpha generation to execution. You will collaborate closely with talented professionals across the core teams, contributing to strategy development, backtesting, and implementation. Successful candidates must also be proficient in C++ programming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cutting-edge quantitative research to develop and refine high-frequency trading strategies.
- Utilize machine learning and advanced statistical techniques to identify profitable opportunities and optimize performance.
- Develop and implement alpha signals, backtest strategies, and drive execution.
- Opportunity to specialize in a specific product/trading strategy or collaborate with teams across different asset classes: futures, equities, crypto, or options.
- Continuously analyze market data and adapt strategies to changing conditions.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in quantitative research or trading, ideally within the HFT space.
- Strong proficiency in C++ (Python is a strong plus).
- Solid background in machine learning and advanced statistical techniques.
- Experience with data analysis, backtesting, and strategy development.
- A passion for solving complex problems and a track record of innovation in the financial markets.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a team environment.
