What You'll Be Doing

As an Aerodynamics Software Engineer, you will:

  • Coordinate and manage the development of new aerodynamics toolsets, including planning and reporting on toolset releases.
  • Collaborate with Aerodynamics Discipline Teams to harmonize requirements and ensure a unified engineering toolset.
  • Drive future initiatives aligned with the Digital Engineering framework and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
  • Supervise and guide team members in toolset development while promoting best practices.
  • Support aerodynamics engineers in toolset use and development, fostering innovation and consistency.
  • Promote and support toolsets within the Aerodynamics Engineering Community.

What You'll Bring

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in software development, methodologies, and version control systems.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink.
  • A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent experience.
  • Logical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal communication.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Linux systems and programming languages such as Python or Java.

As an Aerodynamics Software Engineer, you will join the Aerodynamics team, contributing to the development of MATLAB/Simulink-based toolsets.
