Currently exploring the market for experienced Hardware Engineers - FPGA, VHDL, Altera to join a market leading Defence and Space organisation as they continue their expansion within the UK. Currently this award winning highly renowned organisation are keen to expand their FPGA team and are keen to speak with candidates with a strong knowledge with FPGA and VHDL who would be interested to focus in that area moving forward!

The Hardware Engineer can expect to be working on challenging tasks with some of the most cutting edge cyber security technology and services in the world, where they will be designing and developing critical components.

For the Hardware Engineer you will be responsible to the Head of hardware engineering, making sure that you are executing FPGA work packages within agreed cost, time and quality constraints.

In order to be successful with this role you will need the following skillset:

  • Knowledge of FPGA Design and implementation for communication equipment
  • Experience using VHDL and FPGA synthesis tool
  • Design experience of devices from Altera/Microsemi or Xilinx
  • Fully knowledgeable in design methodologies
