Quantitative Analyst (Analyst/Assoc level)

£50,000 – £70,000 additional benefits

Location: United Kingdom (London – City of London, London) Type: Permanent

They have succeeded in signing major clients in Europe and Asia, leading to additional resources required in terms of technology and day to day support. Therefore they are looking to hire a Junior Quant to work under their Head of Product Development in London who has been instrumental in building out the core product offering.

Proficiency in the following areas is desired:

  • Trade knowledge: from the most vanilla (e.g. futures) to the highly exotic (e.g. multi-asset performance based auto-callables). Front office exposure to real world hedging strategies, and their limitations, is expected.
  • Financial modelling: a knowledge of derivative pricing models is desirable. Demonstration of having worked on such models in a professional context would be a strong plus.
  • Market data: the platform supports five different asset classes, with end of day market data available 'out of the box'. A working knowledge of overnight marking and data management is therefore desirable.
  • Coding skills: C++, C# or a related language (Python, Matlab, Java). Coding is Windows based, but knowledge of Linux based programming would also be an advantage.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small team working directly with the founder and head of product development offering great learning opportunities.
