Agile Transformation Director - Transport

A market leading case study was done recently, looking into the most successful companies in the world and seeing if any patterns emerged. Wanna guess what they all had in common?

Every single top performing company in the world has embraced Agile transformation, enterprise agility... whichever way you slice it, it's irrefutably one of the most important ways of working for any business.

How would you like to work for the company leading the way in helping these organisations transform their ways of working and fully embrace Agile?

The Company

I'm currently working with the management consultancy who are recognised as the global leaders in Agile transformation. They specialise in leading company wide initiatives, driving people, cultural, operational and organisational change, helping their clients move to a truly Agile way of working, and they're the best in the business at it by a clear head and shoulders. In 10 years, their practice has grown from 3 consultants working on 1 account, to 250 consultants working across a wide range of industries, and their ambitious growth plans mean that they're now recruiting at the Director level.

The Role

As an Agile Transformation Director, you will be Leading the Transport, Travel and Logistics GTM team within the Agile Transformation practice. You will work closely with existing clients to analyse their current ways of working, create strategies and plans on how they can change, and then work to implement those changes across the business. As well as expanding on current business, you will bring with you your own contacts from your time in this industry, and will be able to generate new business for the practice and expand the portfolio from day 1.

Your time will be split down the middle - you'll be leading on multiple client engagements simultaneously, managing a team of principal consultants who in turn will each lead their own team, ensuring client engagements are being carried out effectively and the wheels are turning on current business. You'll also spend half your time contributing to the overall build of the practice, primarily from a business development and sales generation perspective, ensuring the practice continues it's phenomenal growth over the last 10 years. Progression pathways are clear to Partner in this team as well - promotion is purely meritocratic, unlike a number of top-heavy larger consultancies.

What we're looking for

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • At least 12 years' experience in Agile transformation, working with a highly reputable consulting firm on site with recognisable clients within transport, travel or logistics
  • Phenomenal experience in Agile transformation engagements, driving Agile adoption across entire companies, leading large teams across multiple engagements
  • Excellent academics
  • Agile certifications such as SAFe
  • Excellent business development pedigree - a core contributor to new business recently and able to bring in new business from current contacts on day 1

What you'll receive in return

  • Competitive base salary of up to £130,000
  • £7,000 travel allowance
  • 15% bonus (uncapped, linked to business development performance)
  • 11% pension
  • 25 days annual leave
  • private medical
  • the chance to join the firm globally recognised as the leaders in Agile transformation, working with the most recognisable clients in the country
