I am currently working with a globally renowned cyber security, defence and aerospace firm who do exactly that.

The Team

The Data Research Group provides expert research, advice, knowledge and guidance to a range of clients across government and private sector. Working alongside globally renowned academic partners, they apply AI and Machine Learning to real world problems to create innovative solutions, and there is now need for a Machine Learning Researcher to join the team in Essex.

The Role

As the successful Machine Learning Researcher, you will be conducting novel research in partnership with leading UK universities on the application of AI and ML to several topic areas. You'll develop prototypes and proof of concepts alongside some of the most talented experts in this field, revolutionising the way clients think about and apply AI and Machine Learning. It's a cutting edge and challenging role for the right candidate, with exposure to some of the most high profile and complex projects in the UK right now.

Key Experience Needed

We're looking for a Machine Learning Researcher with the following experience:

  • Current Active SC Security Clearance or the eligibility to gain this
  • A PhD in AI, Machine Learning or a related discipline
  • several years' post-doctoral experience in the application of AI/ML
  • Strong Python skills, with TensorFlow, Theano or SciKit-Learn experience
  • Experience working in one of the following areas: Tracking, Radio Frequencies, Pattern of Life (POL) Analytics, Autonomy, Acoustic Processing
  • Experience working on secure projects is desirable but by no means essential
