SIEM Content Developer

I am currently recruiting for one of the most exciting companies in the UK and Europe who require a SIEM Content Developer to join their team of market leading experts. This company works across the public and private sector to deliver cutting edge products that directly impact national defence, security and far reaching global digital security solutions.

I need a SIEM Content Developer who can start immediately and wants to work on projects that really make a difference! You should be able to walk into a role with confidence, monitor ArcSight or Splunk events and write rules and content within the SIEM platfor. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity that will allow you to add a true industry leader to your portfolio.

Required Skills:

  • Previous experience working with Arcsight or Splunk
  • Experience in on-boarding event sources
  • Working knowledge of network, database and security toolsets regarding event data in Arcsight or Splunk
  • Creation of SIEM Content / Rules
  • An ability to explain and implement Regular Expressions

Desirable Skills

  • Python or any other scripting language
  • Self-motivated with good communication skills
