Systems Engineer

A great opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join a UK's leading weapons systems companies. A successful Systems Engineer will take is a high profile/ mission critical project. The role offers room for progression, high visibility and independence.

The Systems Engineer will:

  • Develop and maintain the MCU Architecture model which is an MBSE / Rhapsody model
  • Develop and maintain the software requirements, including application requirements in DOORS, Telemetry definition and Functional Interface Definitions
  • Carry out RTFI workshops (Real Time Functional Integration) to ensure the functional solution to the requirement set is valid and that the partners are bought in
  • Upkeep of the Software build list to correspond with the hardware list
  • Carry out progress reporting to project seniors

A successful Systems Engineer will have:

  • Engineering experience with knowledge of requirements generation and decomposition
  • Experience with the certification process
  • RTC, Rhapsody, DOORS and PLM skills are essential
  • An up-to-date understanding of the Systems Engineering Processes and how to streamline delivery
