Business Analyst (Northampton - Remote/Hybrid Working)

As a Business Analyst you will join the Payments team to help shape, define and prioritise new initiatives and changes within the business. While working alongside the Product Manager, Product Owner and business SME's you will create high level design documents and process flows. You will be required to determine the project's delivery goals while providing input to the definition of the project scope and MVP. You will produce business capabilities for the project as a result. Using your knowledge of HLD, you will define and create business user stories to enable engagement with engineering/development teams. Working with development teams, you will elaborate stories, answer questions and transfer knowledge for what needs to be delivered while providing ongoing support throughout the build process. You will ratify test scenarios and support through test while writing user stories with developers.

This opportunity is open to remote/hybrid working arrangements but will require up to 2 days per week on site at the Northampton office.

As a Business Analyst you will have:

  • Excellent written & verbal communication including technical writing.
  • Outstanding analytical skills to accurately interpret the customer's business needs in order to translate into application and operational requirements.
  • Demonstrable ability to create workable solutions to business problems.
  • Experience in Financial Services.
  • Understanding of product development and management in an Agile environment.

Desirables for the Business Analyst role:

  • Business Analysis certification or relevant industry experience.
  • Experience with software development and/or SaaS product integration.
  • Ability to effectively communicate large amounts of information to a broad range of audiences.
  • Ability to be highly productive and tenacious in a fast paced environment.
