Agile Team Lead

A seven-time Sunday Times Top 100 company who specialise in the design and build of bespoke digital solutions are looking for an experienced Agile Team Lead to join their rapidly growing Digital Services capability.

As Agile Team Lead, you will have the opportunity to work with a Microsoft Gold and AWS partner who deliver innovative digital solutions to customers across the public and private sectors to enable them to solve real world problems and enable a smarter, more efficient way of working. Known for digitising numerous public services for the NHS and central government bodies that positively affect the everyday lives of citizens across the UK.

The Agile Team Lead will be responsible for optimising the agile scrum team's individual and collaborative performances while removing any obstacles that arise to facilitate an energetic and productive agile environment. You will work alongside the Product team to be a driving force in the development of the solution with support from the Delivery Manager. You will also be involved in wider management responsibilities as and when required to further enhance the Management capability.

The Agile Team Lead will have significant experience in:

  • Lead software development teams through multiple projects as part of an agile team
  • Expert in Agile/Scrum Delivery Methodology.
  • Previous Scrum Master experience within a digitally focused environment (Mobile/Web applications).
  • Establish ways of working to enable an agile team to plan, forecast and deliver against a product backlog.
  • Act as a role model for collaborative behaviours, agile values and professionalism.
  • Have lead retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide data, forecasts and progress updates to shape planning initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain constructive and collaborative relationships with clients, suppliers and third-party stakeholders.
  • Previous experience supporting Delivery Managers to ensure projects deliver the agreed outcomes within budget and timescale.
  • Ability to maintain effective and efficient delivery from the team while remote working.
  • Certified Scrum Master & Agile Delivery Certification
