This government investment has enabled the organisation to serve their existing clients with enhanced delivery across public sector bodies such as the Home Office, DVLA, HMRC, Department for Education and the Ministry of Justice.

The ideal Full Stack Developer:

My client is looking for Full Stack Developers with demonstrable experience working across a range of programming languages (ideally .NET or C#) with experience working within multi-disciplinary teams in an Agile environment. The individual will be comfortable writing code with test-driven development in mind while having DevOps experience with exposure to Public Cloud technologies. You will be provided with a training budget to upskill on any areas you lack significant experience in so if you have some of the above you are still encouraged to apply.

Desirable experience:

  • Experience in a variety of programming languages (.Net, C#, Node.JS, React, JavaScript)
  • Experience working with databases & APIs
  • Debugging experience in a range of systems/infrastructure
  • Writing code with test-driven development
  • Working within multidisciplinary teams; Agile practices such as Scrum, XP, and/or Kanban
  • Exposure to DevOps/Public Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Consultancy experience; working directly with customers and users
  • Showcasing and presentation skills
  • Pair programming - pair around 50% of the time
  • Component-based design techniques such as using pattern libraries, styled-components,
  • CSS-in-JS, BEM, and/or SUIT CSS
  • The React ecosystem including a test-driven approach
  • Infrastructure as code technology; Terraform and Cloud Formation
  • Familiarity with architectural and design patterns
  • Use of architectural decision records

Remote Working:
