A Sunday Times Top 100 company (7 years in a row!) and the leading digital solutions provider in the UK are looking for an experienced and passionate Product Consultant to join the business to support the delivery of some of the largest and most complex digital transformation projects currently ongoing in the UK today.

Responsibilities of Product Consultant:

  • Facilitate discussions to effectively gather requirements and achieve a collective understanding of essential criteria.
  • Establish effective working relationships with stakeholders to support the delivery of business priorities.
  • Analyse data to recommend service improvements and make informed decisions.
  • Establish and document functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Identify risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies
  • Work with and support the scrum team.
  • Encourage agile delivery and promote the concept of a minimum viable product.
  • Model business processes to confirm that solutions are fit for purpose.

Essential requirements of Product Consultant:

  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst is ESSENTIAL
  • Experience of the software development lifecycle from analysis to acceptance, launch and live operations.
  • Experienced in the facilitations of workshops to lead stakeholders to achieve focused outcomes.
  • Competent at modelling As-is and To-be business processes, and present these to the team and stakeholders.
  • Proven experience managing stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable experience in the elicitation of functional, non-functional and technical requirements and translation into sufficient user stories.
  • Ability to use prioritisation techniques to refine the backlog and manage dependencies
  • Proven ability to manage scope to meet the required MVP
  • Ability to work within commercial constraints; cost restrictions/project deadlines
  • Working in a client/supplier relationship
  • Experience contributing to sales activities (working on bids, writing sales proposals etc.)
  • Broad range of experience in public sector or consulting/client-facing firms.
  • Experience delivering in an agile team.
