Quantitative Software Developer

£75,000 – £150,000 End of year bonus

Currently, a top priority of theirs is to build out a new team in London which will largely be focused on the futures markets. While they are now in advanced processes with several traders and researchers, they are still looking for talented and ambitious software developers who have a strong command of Python or C++.

The Quant Developers and Engineers are at the forefront of their operations, taking ownership and responsibility for the development and maintenance of real time critical software for algorithmic trading.

You will be collaborating with Quant Researchers and Traders, understanding requirements and identifying opportunities to improve current systems and software, while developing solutions to improve functionality on the desk and automating processes. Your command of Python or C++ is expected to be at production level, there is a heavy focus on integration testing - previous successful candidates have been able to demonstrate they can automate this.

Requirements

Recent 2 years experience in a hands on development role.

Bachelors/Masters degree with a focus on Computer Science, Maths, Physics, Electrical Engineering or Statistics.

Compensation

Base: £75,000 - £120,000

Bonus (to be paid at the end of the year): £15,000 - £40,000

Typical offers will offer a slight increase on your current package, in line with your compensation history.
