My client, a global mission capability provider is seeking a National Security Account Manager / Business Development to support their consulting business based out of Canberra. The successful applicant will be required to maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders and customers, and should have a proven track record of selling business across National Security accounts and working on commercial agreements within this space.
This role involves a mix of business development and account management, and considering the sensitive nature of their customers, the ideal candidate will have had exposure to working with Commonwealth and/or National Security agencies, and be comfortable working across complex, commercial sales. Responsibilities and Roles
- Manage and develop existing client relationships
- Develop and deliver sales plans to achieve success in multi-level offerings of security products, capability and consulting services
- Co-coordinate pre-sales engineering and technical support to develop capability offerings
- Lead bid management, proposal development and negotiation of commercial contracts for sales of products and services
- Report on sales and the account development progress
- Provide suggestions to improve market offerings to meet client needs
