Seeking Python professionals in the UK to join a global leader in Digital Transformation on an exciting new project with NHS Digital SUS. This is a data platform that consolidates all clinical data for the NHS. As a Python Developer, you will be improving and enhancing this platform in all aspects, being in a fully stack hands-on environment while designing and developing software that lies between GUI and back end tools.

Experience necessary for being a Python Developer:

  • Writing production grade Python applications
  • Knowledge of a range of languages and paradigms
  • Solid experience with Linux / Obuntu
  • Experience with high scale applications such as APIs
  • Have worked with tooling for testing, building and deploying pipelines
  • Understanding of logging, monitoring and alerting tooling

Desirable skills for being a Python Developer:

  • Docker
  • Terraform
  • Riak
  • Ansible
  • Jenkins
  • ReactJS
  • Redis
  • Any other coding skills are a bonus, but the primary codebase is written in Python

Please note that for this role as a Python Developer you will need to have been a resident in the UK for a minimum of 5 years, as SC clearance is required.

Minimum of 5 years commercial hands-on experience in Python Development is essential.
