Cloud Security Architect - London
£80,000 - £105,000 + £5,900 Travel allowance + 15% Bonus
Are you a cloud security professional who is passionate about developing and implementing secure cloud architectures on Amazon AWS? Do you want to play a pivotal role in helping large and small organizations take their first steps into the cloud or secure what they already have? If so, we want you to join an industry-leading cyber security our growing Cloud Security team as a subject matter expert!
As a Cloud Security Subject Matter Expert, you will lead architectural reviews of client cloud implementations against best practices, relevant threats, and acceptable risks. You will define and implement cloud security strategies and roadmaps for both design and remediation activities. Additionally, you will collaborate across strategy, transformation, and digital engineering parts of our company to develop and manage the implementation of secure cloud architectures.
To succeed in this role, you will need a proven track record of working with one or more of the main cloud vendor platforms, ideally AWS. You should also have a good understanding of security tooling for cloud as well as security automation. A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in IT or a relevant field that demonstrates your interest in IT, cloud, and cyber security is required. In addition, you should hold Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure cloud architect professional qualifications and ISC2 CISSP accreditation or equivalent internationally recognized membership.
You should also have a demonstrable background in security architecture, including experience in designing and implementing technology solutions using firewall, secure networks, IDS/IPS, and IDAM systems. A firm grasp of the threat actors and mitigations for technology risks and a keenness for learning and keeping pace with technology and ways of working is a must.
Experience of leading the design & architecture of cloud capabilities, including managing operational risk and assurance is also preferred. Additionally, familiarity with relevant cyber security standards, to include NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and broader views of good practice is a bonus.
