Calling all Infrastructure Solutions Architects! The World's biggest provider of Defence and Cyber Security Services is seeking Infrastructure Solutions Architects with the necessary skill-sets to bolster and protect the nation's highest-flying National Security projects across all sectors. As a global provider of mission critical and next generation digital solutions, you will serve as a major contributor in the protection against domestic and foreign threats, utilising your skill-set to solve complex business problems and deliver IT-based solutions. As an Infrastructure Solutions Architect, you'll be part of a diverse and inclusive team, where you'll have the autonomy to develop and present secure solutions to leadership and technical teams. You'll be working closely with the Client's Platinum Accounts, and your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that customer's business requirements are met.
Responsibilities of an Infrastructure Solutions Architect:
- As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for architecting custom and reusable solutions of project, programme, or operational scope. You will capture and share architectural IP and oversee the implementation and governance of architectures. You will develop technically feasible long-term IT strategies and plans for clients and assess the business impact of specific technologies/strategies.
- In addition to designing and delivering solutions, you will play a leadership role in business development activities for medium to large opportunities. You will build and manage long-term strategic relationships and contribute to the Architect profession worldwide and across the company businesses.
Criteria for an Infrastructure Solutions Architect:
- Architecting: Understand customer needs, lead a team, provide architectural direction, validate technical requirements, apply methodologies to resolve issues.
- Business Acumen: Identify risks, map requirements, apply business and financial concepts, analyse business needs, apply industry knowledge.
- Technical: Deep IT knowledge, understand future trends, apply best practices, design for accessibility, scalability, and availability.
- Engagement Delivery: Write statements of work, apply project management, work successfully in project teams.
- Opportunity Pursuit: Lead business development, identify and close opportunities, prepare proposals, build rapport with clients.
- Leadership: Collaborate with project managers, make contributions to company knowledge systems, develop new services, coach and mentor, participate in defining processes and policies.
- Consulting: Build and manage strategic relationships, negotiate, gather and apply information for business decisions, communicate effectively with multiple audiences.
- Communication: Design and present high-impact messages, use presentation tools, communicate strategic and tactical information, have excellent speaking and writing skills.
