A globally recognised leader in defense, security, and aerospace technology, is seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our Digital Intelligence Division. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our development and operational processes, ensuring seamless integration between software development and IT operations. Your expertise will be focused on designing, implementing, and managing the DevOps pipeline, optimizing our software delivery, and enhancing system reliability and performance.

Responsibilities of a DevOps Engineer;

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, system administrators, and quality assurance, to define and implement DevOps practices.
  • Develop and maintain the CI/CD pipelines, automating the build, deployment, and testing processes.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, and ensuring high availability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the deployment, scalability, and reliability of our systems.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable and secure cloud architectures.
  • Stay up to date with the latest DevOps tools, technologies, and industry best practices, recommending improvements to our existing processes.

Requirements of a DevOps Engineer;

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or a similar role, focusing on DevOps practices.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
  • Solid understanding of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and proficiency in managing cloud resources.
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Splunk.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
