QA Automation Tester - SC Cleared
Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £60,000 base

We are working with a leader in IT and digital transformation, providing customised solutions in cloud, data, and cybersecurity to drive modernisation for businesses. They are expanding their central government technology team and are seeking an SC Cleared QA Automation Tester.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the product team to establish acceptance criteria, testing standards, and quality metrics.
• As QA Automation Tester, you will work alongside developers to define, review, and execute unit and component tests.
• Conduct both exploratory and automated testing across all levels.
• Lead automation initiatives to ensure full test coverage in an Agile setting.
• Track and communicate test progress, quality metrics, and best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through retrospectives and Agile planning.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as QA automation tester with excellent communication skills.
• Proven experience working in Agile environments with TDD using Java.
• Strong proficiency in API testing (Postman), CI/CD pipelines, and scripting on Windows/Linux.
• Skilled in coding, with experience in Cypress, Docker, and GitLab.
• Familiar with tools like PACT, JUnit, SonarQube, Jenkins, Splunk, Serenity, Cucumber, Selenium, Wiremock, and AWS.

Package:

• Base salary up to £60,000
