The Opportunity:

For the Ministry of Defence, maintaining National Security is a 24-hour-a-day, 365-day-a-year mission. To support these complex operations, the MoD partners with this Big4 Firm to empower critical thinking and drive value across its strategic initiatives and commercial investments.

The Role:

As a Defence Strategy Consultant, your role involves analysing and assessing strategic options for defence clients and translating innovation strategies into reality throughout the end-to-end project implementation.

Effective relationship and stakeholder management with clients and third parties is essential, along with collaboration with internal teams to support strategic cost reduction and design optimal business and financial models for various scenarios.

Required Skills/Experience:

• British Passport Holder with active DV (Developed Vetting Clearance)
• Previously held a strategic consultant role within Defence & Security and/or the broader Public Sector
• Previously involved in high-level strategic decision-making on complex defence & security projects
• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships creatively and solve client issues
• Structured thinking and the ability to break down complex issues
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to carry out analysis and generate insights and recommendations
• Understanding of complex commercial procurements in Defence, major capital projects, or analogous industries

Benefits:

• Base Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 (DoE)
