Our Corporate Services Transformation (CST) team is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager to lead client engagements and spearhead innovative solutions. About the Role:
As a Senior Manager in the CST team, you will be at the forefront of finance transformation initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing client CST engagements, leading teams, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Providing subject matter expertise in broader CST and Infrastructure, Government & Healthcare (IGH) engagements.
- Delivering high-quality, efficient, and profitable engagements.
- Leading business development efforts for specific capabilities or client groups.
- Building and maintaining excellent relationships both externally and internally.
- Crafting compelling proposals to win new engagements.
- Contributing to practice and risk management, including thought leadership and business development activities.
- Motivating and generating commitment from team members.
- Demonstrating continuous self and team development and sharing knowledge within the team.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in leading back office transformation, including finance transformation, people and change management, organizational transformation, operating model design and implementation, and shared services design and implementation.
- Experience in managing both smaller engagements and strategically important, high-value engagements with fees in excess of £500k.
- Strong experience working with Deputy Director and above equivalents in the public sector, or C-Suite executives in the private sector.
- Proficiency in leading teams and project management.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring junior colleagues with measurable improvement in their performance.
- Advanced analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong cross-service line network to facilitate and deliver the breadth of the firm into client relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Desirable Skills:
- Awareness of public sector requirements (e.g., Green Book business cases, capital and resource funding).
- Awareness of intelligent automation and its potential applications.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools.
- Formal qualification in your capability (e.g., Chartered Accountant in finance).]
