Our client, a premier European management and consulting firm, is looking for Senior Consultants to join its global Technology M&A team in London. The firm specializes in M&A advisory services, supporting Private Equity firms, family offices, corporates, and strategic investors. Role Overview:
As a Senior Consultant, you will work on Technology Due Diligence engagements, contributing to a variety of challenging M&A and Strategy projects. You will be part of a highly skilled team that values work-life balance and provides opportunities to work on both local and international engagements. Your expertise will help drive business-building initiatives for clients, supporting the firm's growth strategy and exposing you to high-impact M&A projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Technology Due Diligence engagements.
- Support clients with Tech financials, including assessing IT Opex/Capex, synergy assessment, IT Carve-out costing, benchmarking, and cost estimations.
- Assist leadership in building proposals and sales pitches.
- Contribute to practice development and team mentoring.
- Collaborate with Europe-wide teams across various industries.
- Assist in executing the firm's M&A strategy.
Desired Qualifications and Personal Qualities:
- 4-5+ years of relevant work experience, including at least 3 years in industry or a tech company with a large and/or complex technology landscape in a senior business analyst role.
- Hands-on experience in executing technology due diligence.
- Experience in IT Separation and Integration is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Demonstrable ease with financials (e.g., IT Opex/Capex, synergy assessment, IT Carve-out costing, benchmarking, cost estimations).
- Strong business acumen and resourcefulness; ability to get things done.
- A team player who can work in a collaborative culture and mentor juniors.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and a highly pressured environment typical of transactions.
- Experience delivering high-quality reports and presentations, both written and spoken.
- MBA, Master's, or bachelor's degree with an outstanding academic record from leading universities.
- Right to work in the UK.
