Salary: £35,000 - £60,000

My client, a pioneering FTSE 100 company who are one of the leading global cyber security consultancies, is searching for a Java Developer to work on some of the most advanced technology-led cyber defence security solutions. As a Java developer you would be joining an industry leader in Cyber Security, Financial Crime, Communications Intelligence and Digital Transformation.

With this Java Developer role you will need to have SC Clearance or be eligible to undergo the process

Java Developer Requirements:

• 3+ years experience as a Java Developer
• Experience in writing tests for existing and new code
• Knowledge of source control (preferably Git)
• Familiarity with continuous integration and test development
• Have previous experience or have used agile development techniques to deliver high quality software
• Experience in working with small teams, takin ownership and delivering high quality software
• Microservice architecture
• Spring/SpringBoot
• Apache Maven

Java Developer Desirable Skills and Experience:

Industry experience of any of the following technologies/skills would be beneficial:

• Elasticsearch
• Docker
• Apache Hadoop, Kafka or Camel.
• Javascript
• Knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Kubernetes
• Nifi
• Nsq
• Apache Ignite
• Arango
