About the Role:

As an Electronics Engineer, you'll bring expertise in designing, developing, building, documenting, and testing electronic systems. You'll lead methodical approaches to problem-solving, offer guidance to junior engineers, and ensure consistent documentation in line with company processes. Responsibilities

  • Lead the derivation and management of technical requirements from Mission and System Level to subsystem and equipment level.
  • Design, develop, prototype, build, and test electronic circuits and systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Produce electronics documentation, including Statements of Work (SoW), Design Documents, Interface Control Documents, and Test Plans.
  • Define, perform, document, and review hardware testing, including the design of test hardware and harnessing, debugging, and Verification & Validation of tests.
  • Manage subsystem/unit interfaces and provide technical inputs into spacecraft test and flight harnesses.
  • Collaborate with third-party suppliers to identify requirements for electronic sub-assemblies.

Requirements

  • Educated to at least degree level or equivalent in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience.
  • Experience in technical delivery of complex electrical/electronic systems, preferably in satellite programs or the Aerospace/automotive sector.
  • Proficiency in using technical tools such as Altium, OrCAD, and PSpice.
  • Experience in documentation for space/aerospace projects (highly desirable).
  • Experience in testing and test automation.
  • Experience in firmware development and FPGA/VHDL (desirable).
  • Knowledge of EEE component selection best practices for space programs (desirable).
  • Knowledge of Space Standards (e.g., ECSS) (desirable).
  • Experience in mentoring junior engineers (desirable).
