This role requires ACTIVE DV clearance. Unfortunately, we cannot accept applicants who do not hold ACTIVE DV clearance.

Our client, an industry-leading consultancy operating within National Security and Defence, is in search of a Service Designer to collaborate with top digital talent across various disciplines to innovate and deliver outstanding solutions for their clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop end-to-end service design strategies that align with user needs and business goals.
• Conduct user research and leverage qualitative and quantitative data to inform service design decisions.
• Create detailed service blueprints, journey maps, and other design artifacts to communicate service concepts and specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including user researchers, product managers, and developers, to implement and iterate on service designs.
• Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions with stakeholders to gather insights and foster innovation.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and ensure they are embedded in all aspects of the service design process.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in service design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to design and implement user-centered services.
• Deep understanding of user research methodologies and the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively with designers, researchers, product managers, and developers.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate and resolve complex design challenges.

The Service Designer Package:

• Up to £70,000
• Company bonus
• Company flex fund
• DV Cleared bonus up to £7k
• Candidates must hold active Developed Vetting clearance.
