The Opportunity:

For the UK Government, maintaining National Security is a 24-hour-a-day, 365-day-a-year mission. To support these complex operations, the MoD partners with this Big4 Firm to empower critical thinking and drive value across its strategic initiatives and technology investments.

The Role:

As a Front End Developer, you'll work on complex technology programs for the UK's Defence, Intelligence, and Military Agencies - creating high-quality web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Collaborating with a talented team of designers and developers, you'll also work to translate designs into user-friendly interfaces, conducting thorough testing and debugging while ensuring code quality for a seamless user experience.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • British Passport Holder with active DV (Developed Vetting) Clearance.
  • Previous Defence, Military, Policing, National Security, Counter Terrorism, or Justice Project involvement.
  • Proven experience as a Front-End Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your front-end development skills.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Solid understanding of responsive web design principles, cross-browser compatibility, version control systems (e.g., Git), and front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Gulp).
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and effective collaboration with designers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for efficient debugging and issue resolution.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality code.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
  • Continuous learning mindset and passion for staying up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies.

Benefits:

  • Base Salary: £55,000 - £90,000 (DoE)
  • Discretionary Bonus - 10%
  • DV Bonus £6,000 - £7,000
