About the Role:

Our client is on the lookout for a proactive and diligent Software Test Developer to join their dynamic software testing team. This role focuses on test planning, design, execution, and automation, all within a sophisticated data analytics pipeline built on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Key Responsibilities:

• As a Software Test Developer, you will advocate for quality assurance, privacy protection, and data integrity across the development lifecycle.
• You will engage in collaborative test requirement determinations with project teams and lead agile scrum and planning processes as a Software Test Developer.
• Execute exploratory testing on various components, identifying and addressing defects, and building, deploying, and maintaining test infrastructures for AWS data analytics pipelines.
• Create reusable test code and libraries for future use, ensuring scalability and efficiency as a Software Test Developer.
• Design and report benchmarks on stress, performance, scalability, and other non-functional tests, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A dedicated Software Test Developer with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in software testing with a record of test lead responsibilities.
• Strong familiarity with terminal scripting, CLI, AWS technologies (S3, Lambda, Glue, Athena, SQS), and CI/CD workflow tools (Teamcity, Jenkins).
• Experience in developing and maintaining automated tests using scripting languages like Robot Framework and Python is essential for a Software Test Developer.
• Proficiency with databases (SQL, AWS Athena) and a background in data analytical testing will be advantageous.
