About the Role:

Our client, a leader in interactive technology for education and business sectors, is on the lookout for a passionate and seasoned User Experience Designer. This role is pivotal in designing and enhancing interactive large touchscreen displays, as well as other software solutions across various devices. As a User Experience Designer, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing how people learn, share, and engage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the design initiatives for major software products or cross-product projects.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to outline product specifications, align around user needs, and advocate for user-centric feature prioritization.
  • Conduct user research, translate findings into actionable product designs, and maintain alignment with the product roadmap.
  • Develop detailed design specifications for the development team and refine designs during the implementation phase.
  • Utilize a variety of design tools to create wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs.
  • Drive improvements in user experience processes and mentor other team members in best design practices.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record as a User Experience Designer with a robust portfolio demonstrating your design solutions.
  • Advanced degree in HCI, UI/UX Design, Visual Design, Industrial Design, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in user experience design, particularly in product or interaction design.
  • Expertise in user-centered design methods and a thorough understanding of various interaction models.
  • Experience with Android-based design and familiarity with Google's education ecosystem and Material Design guidelines.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
