About the Role:

Our client, a prominent consultancy, is looking for a proactive and dedicated Cloud Solution Architect to join their Enterprise-Wide Technology team. As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in delivering technical design artifacts for projects, working closely with business stakeholders to develop cutting-edge solutions that enhance operational efficiency and client service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate extensively with various technical managers, architecture review boards, and project managers to ensure successful project outcomes as a Cloud Solution Architect.
• Oversee the creation of design materials necessary for the development of new solutions, ensuring seamless transition into build activities.
• As a Cloud Solution Architect, lead the implementation and deployment of Azure solutions, maintaining oversight throughout to guarantee correct execution.
• Provide input into business cases and maintain budgetary control over design recommendations as a Cloud Solution Architect.
• Support the continuous improvement of solutions by considering all deployment aspects, including security and cost-effectiveness.

What You Will Need:

• A deep passion for architectural design with at least 6 months of experience in a design role.
• Demonstrable experience in deploying Azure services and working with Microsoft technologies.
• An understanding of cloud computing concepts, infrastructure-as-code, PowerShell, and DevOps principles.
• Experience with M365 and Azure Technologies, along with a strong grasp of networking in cloud and on-prem contexts.
• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to lead and influence technical teams.

Skills We Value:

• A minimum of 5 years in engineering roles with hands-on solution design experience.
• Certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-303/304/305 are highly desirable.
• A proactive approach and a keen interest in further developing solution design skills.
