Position Overview:

The firm are looking to hire an experienced Quantitative Portfolio Manager to join their Singapore office. This is an exciting opportunity to build out a new trading pod, deploying your own proven strategies within a resource-rich environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage quantitative trading strategies.
• Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze financial markets and generate alpha.
• Collaborate closely with quantitative researchers and technologists to enhance trading performance.
• Leverage the firm's market-leading platform and infrastructure to maximize strategy deployment and risk-adjusted returns.
• Monitor and manage risk in accordance with the firm's risk management framework.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
• Demonstrable track record of successful quantitative trading strategies with consistent profitability.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, C++, or similar.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and instruments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-manager structure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate complex strategies and insights.
