Software Engineer - Leeds (Hybrid)

Our client is a distinguished state of the art tech firm in the data and cybersecurity industry who support governments & businesses to defend themselves against cyber-crime and reduce their risk in the connected world. Seeking to grow their business they are hiring for roles within national security, meaning this role has the potential to make a difference.

They require an assortment of software engineers who can provide a range of aptitudes such as - Java, JavaScript, Web, Microservices, Infrastructure, O/S and Microsoft Office. This is a fantastic opportunity for agile software engineers who seek to be engaged in a fresh start-up environment whilst earning a very competitive wage.

Our software engineers will;

• Strive to produce work of the highest standard through; appropriate methods of exploitation, understanding the needs of the client and reflecting on personal performance.
• Understand the importance of collaboration within the development team and the significance of communication.
• Be part of a team of coders who strive to work together to develop a myriad of solutions to some of the country's most complex problems.
• Have experience using one or more of the following

• Java
• TypeScript
• JavaScript
• Cloud experience (Azure/AWS)

Our software engineers are accountable for;

• Completing software tasks assigned by Development Team Leaders
• Managing development expectations and working in a timely manner.
• Taking an proactive approach to code defects and works to fix issues.
• Operating through the software development life cycle for simple programs.
