What You'll Be Doing:
As a Technology Lead Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of innovative technology. Your main focus will be leading research activities that align with technology roadmaps, covering everything from architecture and design to concepts and requirements. Collaboration is key-you'll work closely with both internal teams and external partners to ensure everything is on track and underpinned by solid engineering practices.

In this role, you'll be hands-on with emerging technologies, keeping an eye on new developments and identifying potential risks. You'll also contribute to business proposals and cases, helping to drive forward new opportunities. As a Technology Lead Engineer, you'll manage a small team of talented engineers, encouraging collaboration and breaking down traditional boundaries to get the best results.

Your Skills and Experience:

• Degree or HND in a STEM subject, ideally with a focus on Systems Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience
• Familiarity with Model-Based Engineering and Systems Engineering approaches
• Proficiency in modelling languages like SysML/UML
• Understanding of software engineering practices, including SOLID principles and development using high-level programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Java)
• Experience with Agile methods across project phases
• Strong skills in technical data analysis, report writing, and business case development
• Background in architecting, design, development, integration, and certification of technology systems
• Knowledge of open systems architectures and software-driven approaches like containerisation and microservices
