An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Architect to join a dynamic Data Science team within the Financial Services sector. This role involves working on a variety of innovative projects, including data strategy, AI, and business continuity.

As a Data Architect, you will work across all areas of data, analytics, and AI, delivering data architecture solutions aligned with client needs, governance, and target operating models. You'll be responsible for transforming data management models and implementing data systems throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver data architecture solutions to meet client and stakeholder needs.
  • Apply data methodologies such as DCAM and DAMA DMBoK.
  • Lead initiatives in AI, MLOps, Business Intelligence, and Master Data Management.
  • Implement data governance frameworks and ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR and BCBS239.
  • Leverage cloud-based solutions from AWS, Google, Microsoft, and other platforms like Snowflake and DataBricks.
  • Use data lakes, relational data stores, and graph databases to develop architecture patterns.

Essential Skills:

  • Extensive experience working in financial services with a focus on data architecture, AI, and analytics.
  • Knowledge of key topics including data governance, metadata management, and data products.
  • Understanding of cloud service providers and technologies like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Expertise in data methodologies and frameworks (e.g., DCAM, DAMA DMBoK).

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with AI regulations like the EU AI Act.
  • Experience designing architecture solutions using hyperscaler data capabilities.
  • A passion for innovative data solutions and driving continual improvement.
