As a data privacy expert, in an industry-leading consultancy wehre you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our client's compliance with local and international data privacy laws and regulations. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective data privacy policies, procedures, and standards to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.
In this role, you'll lead and manage privacy impact assessments, risk assessments, and compliance audits to identify and mitigate privacy risks. You'll also stay up-to-date on the latest data privacy trends and best practices, as well as work with legal and regulatory authorities to ensure our client's compliance with data privacy laws and regulations.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in data privacy, along with a strong understanding of data protection laws and regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA. A Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification is essential. Additionally, excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are crucial to this role.
