Quantitative Analyst

Location: Singapore Type: Permanent

My client is a leading hedge fund looking to expand their office in Singapore. The firm have a collaborative structure and are hiring Quantitative Analysts to work in a cross-functional role. This is an opportunity to work alongside senior quants in a market-facing position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cover live monitoring, optimization and improvement of live trading strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior quants and traders to enhance trading strategies.
  • Manage large datasets, maintain data pipelines and improve efficiency of existing processes.
  • Work alongside researchers and develop tools to support trading and investment activities.
  • Contribute to the improvement and automation of processes within the quant team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or other related technical fields.
  • Demonstrable Python programming skills with the ability to develop and maintain complex codebases.
  • Prior internship or full-time experience in software engineering or quant development.
  • Solid understanding of statistical and mathematical modeling techniques.
  • An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • An interest in finance and a desire to work in a fast-paced, market-facing environment.

Additional Requirements:

  • Candidates must be Singapore citizens or Permanent Residents (PR).
