A global leader in consulting, technology services and digital transformation, are currently looking for a SC Cleared Platform Engineer.

We can accept applications from London, Manchester or Bristol; you must be willing to travel on-site at least 1-2 days per week.

About the Role:

As a Platform Engineer, you'll engage in cross-functional projects, working alongside talented professionals to design and build supportable, sustainable, and reliable services. You'll be part of transformative digital projects with a focus on the UK public sector, leveraging cutting-edge technologies like cloud solutions, microservices, and open-source frameworks.

What You'll Do as a Platform Engineer:

• Contribute to large-scale, technically challenging projects aimed at modernising public services.
• Work in diverse, agile teams to develop reliable, scalable solutions.
• Apply modern tools and methodologies such as Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and automation frameworks to deliver results.
• Grow your expertise with opportunities for learning and professional development.

Ideal Platform Engineer's bring a combination of technical expertise:

• Strong background in Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Proficiency in building infrastructure with tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience debugging complex systems and leading technical initiatives.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Concourse.

Desirable skills include experience with networking, monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus), and database systems.

Platform Engineer Package:

• £60,000 - £85,000
• Discretionary bonus
