About the Role:


Our client are seeking DevOps Engineers with a passion for innovation and problem-solving to work on exciting projects that drive digital transformation in the public sector. Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, deploy, and maintain resilient, scalable, and secure platforms.
  • Automate processes and improve CI/CD pipelines for enhanced delivery.
  • Develop infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Drive reliability and performance improvements in high-availability environments.
  • Support the modernisation of legacy systems with cloud-native solutions.
  • Mentor team members and provide technical leadership where needed.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform).
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Concourse.
  • Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and experience debugging multi-server services.
  • Effective communicator capable of engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
  • Knowledge of networking, load balancing, and security best practices.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL/SQL databases and cloud storage solutions.
  • Exposure to HashiCorp tools such as Vault, Consul, and Packer.
