Engineering Lead Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of software developers across the full development lifecycle.
  • Oversee the support, maintenance, and enhancement of in-house FTI software tools.
  • Plan and prioritize workloads to ensure current and future team objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align software capabilities with strategic needs.
  • Develop strategies to advance FTI software toolset functionality.
  • Promote software development best practices and adherence to team processes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • A degree in Engineering or a STEM discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to create a collaborative team culture.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in complex systems.
  • A systems-thinking approach and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency with tools for processing and analyzing large datasets.
  • Knowledge of programming languages and databases such as C++, Java, SQL, or Oracle.
