User Experience Designer

User Experience (UX) Designer

Salary: Up to £70,000

Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire (On-site)

What You'll Do:

  • Lead UX activities throughout the project lifecycle, from research and discovery to user testing and final design implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business Analysts, Developers, Delivery Managers) to deliver solutions that meet both user needs and business goals.
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to align your designs with key objectives and user requirements.
  • Develop and maintain scalable design systems to ensure consistent design across digital products.
  • Run and manage user research studies, including user interviews, workshops, focus groups, and usability testing.
  • Facilitate workshops that engage stakeholders, gather valuable insights, and transform these into actionable design solutions.

What You'll Need:

  • Extensive experience in UX design and research with a strong grasp of techniques like contextual inquiry, ethnographic research, and user interviews.
  • Proficient in design tools such as Figma, with experience in agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Ability to translate user requirements into impactful design solutions.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams, delivering high-quality, user-centric products.
  • Ability to obtain high-level security clearance (must be a British citizen and have lived in the UK for the last 5 years).

Due to the nature of the role, you'll be required to work on-site 5 days a week.
